These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and TrueForm ("TrueForm," "we," "our," or "us") governing your access to and use of the TrueForm website, apps, and services (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
TrueForm analyzes body mechanics from video you film or upload, using on-device pose tracking, and gives you feedback on what was actually measured. It is a form-analysis and general fitness coaching tool. It is not medical advice, physiotherapy, injury diagnosis, or a substitute for professional coaching or health care. It cannot assess injury risk, medical conditions, or anything beyond the body mechanics it explicitly states it measured, and its feedback may be incomplete or wrong. Always use your own judgment and consult a qualified professional for anything beyond general form feedback.
Physical exercise carries inherent risks, including the risk of serious injury. You participate in any activity related to the Service entirely at your own risk. You should consult a physician before beginning any exercise program, especially if you have a medical condition, are pregnant, or are recovering from injury. Stop immediately and seek medical attention if you feel pain, dizziness, or discomfort. By using the Service, you acknowledge these risks and agree that TrueForm is not responsible for any injury, harm, or loss resulting from your physical activity or from any reliance on the Service's feedback.
You need an account to use most of the Service. You must be at least 13 years old to use it. If you are between 13 and the age of majority where you live (19 in British Columbia), you may use the Service only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms on your behalf. The Service is not intended for children under 13.
You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate information when you sign up, and let us know if you believe your account has been compromised.
Each plan has monthly limits on analyses and AI coaching sessions, shown on your Account page. The AI coaching limits exist because that feature calls a third-party AI provider and has a real cost to us. You agree not to attempt to circumvent, reset, or otherwise bypass these limits, or to access the Service through automated means except as we expressly permit.
You keep ownership of any video you film or upload. As described in our Privacy Policy, your video is processed on your own device for form analysis and is not uploaded to our servers for that purpose. You represent that you have the right to use any content you provide, and that doing so doesn't violate anyone else's rights.

The Service — including its software, design, text, coaching content, and branding — belongs to TrueForm and is protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your own non-commercial use under these Terms. You may not copy, resell, or create derivative works from the Service or its content without our permission.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. Pose tracking from a single camera has real, known limitations: it cannot see depth precisely, and occlusion, camera angle, or poor lighting can reduce accuracy. We try to be upfront about this throughout the app rather than overstate what a phone camera can measure. We don't warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that its feedback will be accurate or suitable for your goals.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, TrueForm will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, or for any injury or harm arising from your use of the Service or reliance on its feedback. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or CAD $50. Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you, and nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
You agree to indemnify and hold TrueForm harmless from any claims, damages, or costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.
You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the Service or other users. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification) will survive.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the applicable laws of Canada, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that the courts located in British Columbia will have jurisdiction over any dispute, except where applicable law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.
We may update these Terms as the product changes. If we make material changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and TrueForm regarding the Service. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Our not enforcing a provision isn't a waiver of it. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms without our consent.
